Nouns are words we use to talk about people, places, and things. Nouns can be singular if we refer to only one object or plural if we refer to two or more things.
In English we form the plural by adding an "s" to the singular noun: car, cars; window, windows; door, doors, month, months.
When the noun ends in “-y” preceded by a consonant, change the -y to -i and add -es: baby, babies; lady, ladies; candy, cadies.
Add -es to nouns ending in -sh, -ch, -s, -x and –z: wish, wishes; class, classes; fox, foxes.
